Three of the sprint champions at this year’s World Masters Orienteering Championships were also gold medallists last year: Jenny Bourne AUS in W55, Nick Barrable GBR in M35 and Hermann Wehner AUS in M85. A M95 gold medal was awarded for the first time.

More than 3.700 competitors took part in the sprint finals, held in the Swiss town of Neuchâtel. Several of the champions are well-known names from the elite classes of the past.
