As previous years, the six best nations – separately for men and women – may enter eight athletes in the World Cup events (with the exception of the World Championships). All Individual World Champions shall be offered a wild card place in competitions 1 to 3 (World Champions 2010) and 7 to 9 (World Champions 2011) provided they are selected by their Federation. These wild card places shall be additional to the national quotas.
