IOF World Cup 2011 in foot orienteering will begin with the second Nordic Orienteering Tour in Finland, Sweden and Norway. The first round is scheduled for 16-25 June. The next three events will be part of World Orienteering Championships in Savoie, France which will be followed by round three in Liberec, Czech Republic. The World Cup will end with the traditional PostFinance Sprint events, this time in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland. Last season was ruled by the Swiss orienteers Simone Niggli-Luder and Daniel Hubmann.

MTB orienteering World Cup will also consist of a total of four rounds. This season’s first round will take place in Tapolca, Hungary on 15-17 April, after which the following three rounds will be held in Sweden, Italy and Russia. Michaela Gigon (AUT) and Erik Skovgaard Knudsen (DEN) are the World Cup winners from last year – we will see which two athletes rise on the podium as overall winners this September.
