Six ski orienteering countries at the Asian Winter Games

The ski orienteering events in the Asian Winter Games in Astana and Almaty, Kazakhstan, begin on Monday with sprint. This is the first time that ski orienteering is present at these multi sport games, which are held every four years for members of the Olympic Council of Asia.

Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Korea, Iran and China have sent their ski orienteering teams for the sprint, middle distance, long distance and relay races.
