New milestones for orienteering in Chinese Taipei

People may still remember the successful World Games 2009 and Deaflympics 2009 in Chinese Taipei. The Chinese Taipei Orienteering Association (CTOA) now announces that the Asian orienteering working group has appointed Chinese Taipei organiser of the Asian Orienteering Championships 2016. At the same time, the CTOA is going to celebrate its 20th Anniversary during the exciting Asian events.

There are also other milestones coming up for the in the near future. This year orienteering was for the first time on the stage of Taiwan Citizens Games 2014, and in 2015 orienteering will be part of Taiwan Aboriginal Games. Furthermore, the 8th Asia Pacific Deaf Games 2015 is seeking deaf orienteering friends to join the competitions in Chinese Taipei. In order to promote the map technique in Asian region, the CTOA will organise Asian mapping clinics in 2015.
