MTBO World Cup standings after first round

After two wins in the first round Emily Benham, Great Britain leads the women’s standings by 20 points. In the men’s table Vojtech Ludvik, Czech Republic and Luca Dallavalle, Italy share the lead.

Benham is in her familiar position at the head of the standings, with Martina Tichovska CZE her closest challenger. There is then a big gap to third-placed Gaelle Barlet, France, with other athletes close behind. Seven nations are represented in the top ten placings; the nation with the highest number of athletes is Finland with three.

Six nations are represented in the men’s top ten, including four Russians. Third-placed is Baptiste Fuchs FRA who is 16 points down on the joint leaders. The Czech Republic’s success in the first round is shown in having two riders in the top four.
