Junior World Ski Orienteering Championships: Photos from the long distance

View photos of the medallists and of other successful athletes on the long distance race.


The best men on the long distance were Olli-Markus Taivainen (left), Finland, winner Taras Kashchuk, Russia, and Daniel Nordebo, Sweden.


Stanimir Belomazhev again had a good race. The Bulgarian was only 11 seconds from a medal.


Daniel Nordebo from Sweden took his first individual medal.


Gabriele Canella from Italy took a good 13th place.


The Swede Eva Svensson took her third gold. Helene Söderlund (left) from Sweden took her fourth medal and Hana Hanciková from the CzechRepublic took her third medal.


The Norwegian Marianne Mellby Larsen was only three seconds from a medal.


The Czech girls are doing well: Simona Karochova was tenth.
