ISOM revision – second call for comments from member federations
Posted on | May 23, 2013 | Category: News
The first draft of the revised IOF International Specification for Orienteering Maps (ISOM) has been distributed to member federations for consideration and commenting as part of the process to create an improved map specification. National federations were first consulted in the Autumn of 2008 when the federations were asked to provide more general input on the shortcomings of the current ISOM and the need for changes. This time the IOF Map Commission is looking for comments on the details of the specification such as the specific symbols and their dimensions. Member federations are asked to submit their responses by 1 July 2013.
