Posted on | October 28, 2010 | Category: News

The International Orienteering Federation, in cooperation with Czech Orienteering Federation, is pleased to announce the IOF High Level Event Seminar to be held in Prague 5-6 February 2011.

The High Level Event Seminar (HLES) has earlier been organised in Norway in 2009 and in Switzerland in 2010. The seminar targets future organisers, potential future organisers and key persons of IOF High Level Events, including appointed IOF Senior Event Advisers.

The national orienteering federations are kindly asked to identify and enter suitable candidates. The HLES is focussing on organising events at the highest international level. The seminars has had different themes: 2009 targeting TV and arena, and 2010 specialising in Sprint. The theme for the 2011 HLES in Prague will be Course Planning.

Among the lecturers there will be World Championships course planners, national team coaches and TV directors.

Please mark your calendars for the HLES in Prague, 5-6 February 2011. A detailed invitation with programme and entry forms will be published during November 2010.
