A correction to the International Specification for Ski Orienteering Maps
Posted on | December 30, 2010 | Category: News

The new edition of the International Specification for Ski Orienteering Maps was published in November 2009.
The IOF Ski Orienteering Commission has now decided to make a correction to the definition of the symbol 803 Track. The width of the track shall vary between 0.8 and 1.2 m while it was 0.8-1.5 m in the specification. After the correction the competitors will know that the track drawn with this symbol is not skatable. Even single-sided skating is not possible when a track is 1.2 m wide.
