World MTBO Championships: Switzerland and Denmark take relay titles

Switzerland was the clear winner by 3:05 in the women’s relay today, and Denmark won the men’s relay with the comfortable margin of 2:08. Russia and Denmark took the women’s and men’s junior titles respectively, with the women’s race ending in a sprint finish, Russia one second ahead of Finland.
Lithuania and Slovakia were the other medal winners in the women’s relay, Slovakia finishing 5:01 down on the lead. The silver and bronze medallists in the men’s relay were Czech Republic and Finland, where Finland finished exactly one minute after the Czech Republic.
The Championships end tomorrow with the sprint races.
