Junior World Orienteering Championships: Photos from the sprint distance

28 nations are taking part in the Junior World Orienteering Championships in Dubbo, Australia.


Sarka Slobodna (left), CzechRepublic, Eva Svensson, Sweden and Maja Alm, Denmark took the medals.


Among the men Olav Lundanes (left), Norway, Vojtech Kraal, Czech Republic and Ivan Sirakov, Bulgaria were the fastest.


The sprint was run in a zoo with animals from almost the whole world – but the animals’ compounds were out of bounds.


Winner Vojtech Kral together with head coach Libor Zridkavesely (left) and coach Ladislav Svoboda. The sprint was a great day!


Jenny Lönnkvist from Sweden was fifth.


The Norwegian Siri Ulvestad got the place just off the podium – she was fourth.


Martin Hubmann from Switzerland was four seconds from a medal. Martin is a younger brother of the good senior Daniel Hubmann.


Zsolt Lenkei, Hungary is giving all in the finish.


The Dane Christian Bobach was fifth.


A happy Ivan Sirakov from Bulgaria.
