“All four bids [Denmark, Estonia, France, and Japan] were of a very good standard, and all met the minimum criteria for a successful WMOC”, the Foot Orienteering Commission reported to the Council when proposing a short list for World Masters Orienteering Championships 2016: Denmark and Estonia. The Council approved the short list, and in addition strongly encouraged both France and Japan to apply again at a later stage.
David May, who is responsible for World Masters in the Foot Orienteering Commission, will now make an evaluation visit to Denmark and Estonia. After that the Foot Orienteering Commission will give a final proposal to the IOF Council.|| Print page ||
