Tove Alexandersson had to deal with injuries during WOC and had also had to be patient after Scotland, but just in time the Swede is ready for racing again.

In the last individual race of World Cup the 23 year old from Borlänge in Sweden will be on the start line again.

Verdenscup Prestebakke i Halden Onsdag 3. juni 2015 tove alexandersson

– She’s not injuried any longer and has been running well for a couple of weeks, Håkan Carlsson, head coach of the Swedish team tells.

– Tove didn’t take part in the long distance on Friday.

– She didn’t want to risk getting injuries back by running two races.

Even if she didn’t get a point at all on Friday she is leading World Cup over all before the last race. The main reason is incredible racing in the beginning of the year in Australia. She also got some good points at WOC when she took part in the long and became fourth.

Alexandersson is leading in front of Ida Bobach before the middle distance where it’s double points. The Dane is injuried and will not take part. Sara Lüscher is third and is 91 points behind the leading Swede.
