An update on the ISOM revision project
Posted on | February 22, 2013 | Category: News

The IOF Map Commission is working on revising the International Specification for Orienteering Maps (ISOM).
The Commission had planned to send a draft to the federations for hearing already in the autumn 2012, but preparing the document for the reference group took more time than expected. The Commission has now received feedback from the reference group, and in their January meeting they started to prepare a draft to be sent to the federations.
“We now hope to have something ready for the federations this spring, so that we can get feedback in time to our WOC 2013 meeting”, says Map Commission Chairman Håvad Tveite.
