Allocation of places for the 2013 World Games

The 9th World Games will be held in Cali, Colombia in the period 25 July to 4 August 2013. The International Olympic Committee has extended its patronage to The World Games which are held every fourth year under the auspices of the International World Games Association.

More than 5000 athletes and officials in 27 official sports and 4 invitational sports are expected to participate in the 9th World Games in Cali. Orienteering is one of the sports on the official The World Games programme and entitled to enter a total of 80 runners. The 80 places for the 2013 The World Games have now been allocated to the federations in accordance with the qualification criteria approved and circulated to the federations in August 2011.
