Simona Aebersold, Switzerland, and Olli Ojanaho, Finland both took their third individual gold medal at the Long distance at the Junior World Orienteering Championships in Tampere, Finland.

Aebersold and Ojanaho are definitely unbeatable at this year’s Junior World Orienteering Championships. Aebersold won the Long distance with a margin of 3.14 to Veera Klemettinen, Finland, in second place. It was Switzerland also in bronze medal position through Sofie Bachmann.

The men’s class was tighter and Ojanaho won, 43 second faster than Swedish Simon Imark. Sweden took both silver and bronze as Simon Hector was third.
