The third and final round of the MTB Orienteering World Cup takes place this weekend in the Alentejana Region in the south-west of Portugal. Riders from 19 nations will compete in Middle and Long distance individual races and a mixed relay. The World Masters Championships will also be held here.

09/10/2013 || Lars Jakob Waaler winner of the unofficial European Cup in TrailO 2013 ||News||

The last two events of the unofficial European Cup in Trail Orienteering (ECTO) took place in a rainy Plitvička Jezera, Croatia. Lars Jakob Waaler from Norway was in a clear lead before these two competitions. The only one who could threaten him was his compatriot Martin Jullum. To win the overall Cup Jullum would have to win both competitions in Croatia, and Lars Jakob would have to finish 7th or worse.

06/10/2013 || World Cup: Niggli and Kyburz take final honours ||News||

Simone Niggli achieved her season’s final goal today – winning the Sprint in Baden and also the World Cup overall. Tove Alexandersson, who needed to finish second to remain ahead if Simone won, could only manage fourth place. Matthias Kyburz, leader in the men’s standings before today, rounded off a superb season in style with a resounding victory.
